1) Gateway of India Overview---
The Gateway of India is an emblematic landmark not only in Mumbai but in the entire country. Located on the southern part of the city, the gateway overlooks the splendid Arabian Sea. This magnificent edifice was constructed to memorialize King George V and Queen Mary's visit to India in 1911. It was designed by George Wittet and took around 13 years to complete the project. The monument was inaugurated on 4th December, 1924. Flaunting flawless Indo-Saracenic architecture, this structure has been built in yellow basalt stone. Its archway is 26 metres high, which is joined with four turrets. EsselWorld is a popular recreation hotspot and one of the largest amusement parks in India. 3) Sanjay Gandhi National Park Overview---
Sanjay Gandhi National Park is a significant wildlife reserve which impresses visitors with its diverse flora and fauna. It was formed in 1969 by merging different forest reserves with the Borivali National Park, which was 20.26 sq km in area. The geographical expanse of the national park thus formed was 104 sq km. The landscape of this park is made of sparkling lakes, gurgling rivers, beautiful valleys and undulating hills. More than 800 types of flowering plants have been recorded here, which include karvi, a flower that blossoms once in a period of eight years. The rich fauna of this park includes 36 mammal species, 62 varieties of reptiles and 5000 kinds of insects. Leopards, lions, tigers, rhesus monkeys, hare, sambars, langurs, macaques and chitals are some of the animals that can be seen roaming freely in the premises of this reserved zone. Atlas Moth – the largest moth species of the world – can also be spotted in this national park. 

4) Mumbai Zoo (Veermata Jijabai Udyan) Overview--
Located within the premises of Veermata Jijabai Udyan (Victoria Gardens), Mumbai Zoo was established in the year 1861. It is one of Mumbai's oldest zoological parks that boasts of a rich collection of rare as well as common species of birds and animals. 
In addition to these, visitors can see stuffed animals that have been designed by well-trained taxidermists. It serves as one of the favourite picnic spots for locals as well as outsiders.
